You have to love your wife more. She lets you build stuff all the time. What would the materials cost a average Joe to build something like this.

Oh ya if you didn't notice it's a rimless with a c2c overflow and the bean animals dead silent failsafe overflow minus the emergency drain.... Didn't see any use it for it since I have ran plenty of these set ups and never used the failsafe with the teeth...;)

Far from it... It's easier to beg for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission...
She went to the mall and it just magically appeared before she came home... Lol 2 days of fighting and arguing and now she's over it...;)
Cost would run ya about 400$ in materials minus the skimmer... That would cover the tank, stand, and sump...

If I did something like that, my wife would find my super glue and part of me would be on a plug in that tank.

I have trying to get her into the hobby since I started... I'm gonna just buy all pink and purple corals and slowly convert her lol.... I just made up excuses like I will save money since I can turn the lights off on my 220 display that's basically a frag tank... I also lost a expensive coral and said see if I had another tank to frag a piece off and put in a different system I would have a better chance of saving not that she cared but I threw it in there lol.... If she had it her way I wouldn't have any tanks...:(
