I just added my MP40QD to my reeflink and started updating the Vortech Firmware. It's taking forever and I don't see anywhere to view progress.

Is this normal? Does it usually take 30+ minutes?

The ESL screen is showing the driver flashing Blue/Green and the actual driver is flashing Red/White.

I'm not sure what to do but I don't want to leave it off as other than the return, this is my only tank circulation.

Thanks for your help!

Sorry I've not been about to reply... How did you get on with the firmware update in the end??

I has to unplug the Vortech and it started working. I haven't tried the update again yet as time didn't allow and I didn't want to lose the pump for too long

My MP-10WQD updates only took @1-2 minutes through a ReefLink.

Sorry to revive an old thread but I just got a few old model MP40s and I am too stuck at the updating stage. Seems always get stuck on the last 5-10%.

I’m stuck on the first part.. I can’t get just the red and white light. Everytime I try, it gives me a red white blue sequence. What am I doing wrong?
