My basement flooded (about 2-3 inches) and my dehumidifier hose could not reach the sink. This was an emergency so I used my Brute can which I was previously using for mixing saltwater. I rinsed it with tap water, and cleaned with a new sponge, as well as used it twice to collect waterchange water. I'd prefer to again use it to mix saltwater (RODI and salt) but I'm just not sure what could be left in there?

I have vinegar on hand, and there's no rush, but I'm open to any and all help/suggestions. I'd prefer not to scrap it as a mixing tank as I had just bought it a month earlier.

Is there a way I could test it? What would I be worried about/look for?
