I have placed all my fish in a 75 gallon QT tank with Chloroquine phosphate and lost a kole tang and royal gamma this morning. the only other fish with signs of it is my sailfin tang i placed all of them in the QT hippo tang and gobies and wrasse and clowns all are doing well and swimming. they were all put in the tank running a wave maker a large air stone and a HOB filter with pads no charcoal and no skimmer. now that 2 have died is there a need to be concerned about ammonia? and how long do they need to be in the QT with the meds.

I would either setup a second QT or switch over to copper in the 75 gal QT. The issue here is Hippo Tangs & wrasses are known CP sensitive species.

For active ammonia monitoring, I would pickup one of these:
