Drive thru specialist at jack in the box
I apologize for not being truthful. Seems everyone else is. I do not work in fast food... I am a digital intermediate colorist. I color correct post processed photos and video on private to commercial scale. Only photographers and videographers understand what I do. ;)

That's not a great comparison but okay. The pay grade is slightly different too. Lol..

I've yet to do any major motion films. Mostly small production music videos, documentary, weddings. Photography is my daily money maker. I analyze roughly 3,000 images a day. Been doing it for 14 years, almost.

I got Bent while urchin diving. Done with tanks now. I'll still skin dive with a belt though.

I make film and TV shows. In Hollywood TV is oft called making sausage or fast food with health care and dental.. Its a pretty cynical place.
I do camera and lighting as well as Digital imaging. My job is to make your job easier.

Post production editor? Editors do an amazing job and yes, you guys do make the films. Unfortunately, I have to speak with directors and try to translate what emotion they want to convey. Eventually, i'll throw myself out there. My biggest issue is keeping up with hardware. I am taking broadcast classes at the moment. Learning Avid systems

Gaffer DP DIT. Im a set dog.

The RED camera nearly killed us out here.(apple didnt help) The files were bigger than any computer could handle. I couldn't afford to keep buying Macs and drives. Fortunately a friend had written software and finally sold it to Adobe so we all could edit with proxies and lay the look over the raw without having to render. That was cineform, now he made the compression so Go Pros can shoot in 4k. He and Weisscam were the only ones working in raw at the time.
Avids cool, Davinci is really fun.

My dad was a general contractor when I was a kid. One of my favorite things to do a job site? Play on the stucco guy's scaffolding when they weren't around!
You can come play on my scaffold. As long as you load it in the trailer when you're done.

We could go on all day about this! Though, I love Davinci, it leaves a tea stain. Speedgrade and red ciniX are my go to. I run 4 SSD in raid0 and still have issues rendering H.265 or sequencing in DPX. So frustrating. I'll leave it at that.
