I have a pretty good list: drilled tank, built internal overflow box and the acrylic bender I used to build it, stand, canopy, acrylic sump, ATO reservoir, fans/brackets and acrylic frag racks. I think that's everything.

I change the water in my 29g about 1 or 2 gallons every day to every other day... 3 days is the absolute longest I go without skimming the surface and removing at least 1 gallon of water and allowing the auto-top off to replace it (after switching sources btw)

DO you run a sump or skimmer? I saw the carbon sock in the DT so I'm just wondering, it looks super clean and your corals seem happy too!

No skimmer, no sump, just surface skim whenever I do a water change... My Thor shrimp have babies every two weeks also... I put BBS eggs in the tank at night to feed corals

I made a Mandarin feeder. I place the brine shrimp in the top funnel and they fall ton the bottom and try to get out while the mandarins picks the off one by one.

My $5.00 internal overflow box...

I added a frag tank to my system and needed an internal overflow box. I'm not handy at acrylic, and one would have cost me like 50 bucks. So, I Frankensteined it. It's a piece of 4" PVC end cap. I cut off a side of it large enough to allow it to fit around a bulkhead, AND to allow me to insert and remove the bulkhead if needed... Cut grooves in it with an angle grinder. Glued it to the tank with E6000 adhesive...

I turned a wall mounted bookcase into a stand to fit my 75 then 90 gallon tank It houses a 30L refugium & all the other necessities underneath. In hindsight I wouldn't have installed it this way as theres no rear access to the tank...oh well!

I just made these LR pillar stands for my new tank I'm getting ready to build.
1/2 acrylic rod was $5 for a 6' section, couple bucks for acrylic panels from the scrap bin at my local plastic supplier, $6 for weldon #16
So for $13 I got 3 of these(one is already stacked w/ rock and in a holding bin)
I take a simple propane torch and slowly heat an area till it starts to bend, shape it, then I drill the flat acryilic and tie down w/ zip ties, then give a good amount of weldon #16 to bond.
Been doing this w/ all my tanks for years now, I live in earthquake land, so far my pillars have held up to some pretty good shakers!

Here's another lil DIY rig, I got caught w/ my pants down during our last power failure, no generator(we really should all have one, or at least battery backups of some kind)
Anyway, I rigged a scuba bottle to airline to at least oxygenate the tank(pic taken after power came back)
Yeah, it's a bit ghetto, and of course this trick will only apply to those that have a scuba bottle laying around(I know I always do!lol)
Hey, sometimes it's just gotta get you through the night though right?
