I am a lisenced insurance agent I work mostly with seniors so I sell medicare supplements, life insurance, annuities, and Long Term Care (nursing home coverage) so if anyone needs insurance advice feel free to ask I dont necessarily know your states specific laws but they are easy enough to find out. I'm doing this to save up for grad school I have a degree in Physics looking to get my masters in structural or civil engineering. But if I get myself any more into this hobby I won't be saving for anything but more coral and a nicer tank!!!

I teach, because I can ! Science teacher at the local high school; also a volunteer fireman (Firefighter I, Wildland and BEC). Tried the whole EMT thing once, but had to drop out of the class, as I really didn't have the time - maybe sometime. I'm also board chairman for the fire district. In my spare time, I pursue my reef tank, my orchids, and I'm a Pathfinder (LOL).

Any 4 year degree can get you in the door with most agencies. Areas of special interest like computers, accounting, foreign language, etc may help your cause. Don't ask me how I know :crossedlips:.

Jledon4- minus the temps thats sounds like a good time to me lol. The job pays well but after awhile it takes it toll on your body! Thats why Im into the automation aspect now, sit and play with a computer and tell the green horn to go and hook stuff up lol!

I'm a DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) Tech / Const. Manager / Integration and Implementation Specialist. Basically I'm maintaining a Sprint/Nextel network that fills in the dead spots here in Seattle. When I'm not doing that I'm working on upgrading and building new wireless networks for the carriers. Right now I'm working on upgrading Verizon to 4G (LTE) in the Portland, OR area. Where you can't put a cell tower you put the equipment I work on. Really fun and always changing which keeps me on my toes.
