What size tank for a mermaid?

My son has been looking for a mermaid, but can't seam to catch her. Just wondering what is considered an acceptable sized tank?

I just made a deal with the mermaid's father so she could have legs and come on land. ;)

It really doesn't matter what size, because whatever size tank you get her, she'll never be happy, and insist on you getting a bigger one. And after a short period of time, a bigger one! And God forbid the Mermaid next door gets a bigger one......you're doomed! :D

It really doesn't matter what size, because whatever size tank you get her, she'll never be happy, and insist on you getting a bigger one. And after a short period of time, a bigger one! And God forbid the Mermaid next door gets a bigger one......you're doomed! :D

I've posted this picture before, but I raised a mermaid, and according to her, the tank was never large enough. But now that I've gotten her through school, she is responsible for her own tank and no longer calls me for "water" (water is mermaid for money for those of you that didn't know)!!!
