One thing I know for sure, it's something I'd never taste! There are only a few things I'll eat from the sea, and this isn't one of them....I can tell.

I'm guessing tongue from some creature.....maybe seal.

It looks veeerrrry familiar. Looks like chicken thighs so maybe flounder or halibut? But those are common so im gonna go with some kind of eel or the belly of something big.

I figure this guy would love to tell you, but he might be a little hard to understand (the fish, not the fisherman).

Yes, yes it is. Fried to a crispy goodness.

I had them once. They weren't for me but not nearly as gross as I expected. I visited a friend after Cod season or skrei? as he called it. There were plenty of tongues to be had.

I would say it had a scallop taste but more... fishy? That's a terrible explanation.
