Please help!
I first thought flukes because of the location, line and on top of the skin, but it looks kinda fuzzy and on top of the skin. I've noticed similar small patches on the fins, but they come and go pretty regularly. This is the first time that the patches looked "organized". It hasn't seemed to get longer or grow, but seems to get fuzzier. It's active and eating well.

When did you first notice it? How long have you had the fish and when was the last wet thing added? Almost looks like welts from a sting maybe? Do you have any anemones or long flowing corals like euphyllia?

Lymphocystis will also come & go, especially if a fish is stressed.

I would have to agree with lymph. It's a weird way to present, but we've seen weirder on here. :)

It's actually my friend's tang in his tank. I'm not quite sure how long he's had it or when it started. I've know about it for 3 days. There is euphyilla and a nem in the tank.

Thanks everyone. It is worth treating or waiting it out?

Same as the other thread. If it's lymph, there is no real treatment for it. Clean water, Low stress and vitamins in the food will help. If it changes or any other symptoms occur, let us know.
