I tried searching online, but couldn't find anything. My wrasse goes through periods of pooping sand all over the tank. And a lot of it. He's sprinkling all my corals with his sand poop. Anyone have the same experience? Why is he eating sand. I'm pretty sure he's getting enough food.

What species of wrasse? I wouldn't worry about it. Wrasses can ingest sand while hunting, some more than others.

X2 parrotfish are essentially wrasse (its more complicated than that but for simplicity purposes) and it's said that they're responsible for most sand around the world.

It is a yellowfin fairy wrasse.

That is all I could find when trying to search this was about parrot fish.

It's kinda annoying, because he's sprinkling it all over my rocks and corals. But I guess I could have bigger problems than this.
