This 215 gal tank was a bare bottom soft coral display for many years. I drained and cleaned it out and reset it in 1 day. I added a live mud base topped with live fine grain and then course aragonite. I added 1 bottle of Hydrospace ProBio along with Real Reef rock in an open structure and a couple Jumbo Heteractis magnifica anemones. One magnifica is about 24-30 inches and the other 5 are 12-15 inches. For 2 days post set up I added more anemones along vwith several 10-12 cultured Squamosa clams. I'll probably continue to add more Jumbo clams. Not sure yet what fish I'll add. Lighting is provided by 3 AI Hydra 64s set to max white, violet, red, toyal blue, uv, with minimal green and some blue. Circulation is provided by 2 MP40s set to ramping program. The main tank is about 25 years old and connected to a small sump that contains a small biopellet reactor, a mesh bag of carbon, a filter socket, poly filter pad, and small Reef Octopus skimmer. Top off fresh10% Iodine solution is added water is dosed reverse cycle with calcium hydroxide. No other supplements are needed or added. Salt mix is ESV brand with 1.027 SG. No testing is done other than observation. I have kept magnifica for many years. Feeding is daily via Sustainable Aquatics hatchery pellets.
