I may just be a bit paranoid right now. But this more about my fear of cross contamination with my DT today, when I cleaned my QT tank and then took care of my DT (which is a pretty bad habit, I know).

But 60 days at room temperature should be sufficient for coral/invert quarantine no? I used to do 76 days, until it changed. I know 45 days isn't sufficient, because I didn't keep the temp at ~82 degrees. But I remember an old thread about JayHemdal recommending 60 days for coral/invert qt for room temperature tanks. But I can't find it.

Have you measured the temperature? Per humble fish is 45 days at 80.6 so maybe you are close to that range without knowing it. My DT will reach 80 degrees on it own even with 24/7 ac at 74 if the fan for it does not turn on. My QT stays in that 80-81 with no issue but will probably run into issues once it gets colder.

Also, use a really good way to measure the temperature. Highly calibrated if possible
