Starting a new thread to document QT and treatment of a new group of fish:

Mccoskers Flasher Wrasse
Blue Throat Fairy Wrasse
Ornate Leopard Wrasse
2x Yellow clown Goby.

With my continued struggles with another Mccoskers thought I would try copper again using the procedure updated by @Jay Hemdal here.

1/15/25 - All 5 arrived in great time - UPS overnight from Harrys Marine - delivered by 1030AM.
- immediately floated for temp 20 Min
- Sampled water in each bag with needle and taped hole shut - about 1.018-1.019.
- 30 Min bath in Methylene Blue 6ppm
- dropped into dark tank with covers on side and top.
- The fairy and the flasher went around some PVC pipe and the leopard went into the sandbed. I can see its fins against the glass.

1/16/26 - I am monitoring via a camera, so cant see all angles, but;
- 1030Am small light came one. Via camera I can see the two clown gobies. The flasher is also in and out of its hiding and seems to hate his own reflection why going back and forth on the glass and flaring its fins.
- I have not seen the fairy yet.
- I can see where the leopard is still under the sand, but no appearance yet.

Plan to start copper tonight based on Jays plan unless someone says "WAIT!" I assume its ok to start even if the fish are hiding and / or under the sand.

Follow the quarantine procedure outlined. Add a bowl of sand for their comfort

A little more than a bowl. Realize I’ll have to watch the copper level pretty close but there was someone else who did it with a sand bed and indicated absorbsion was rather low after a few days.

Update:
1/16/25 - No show on leopard Wrasse. All others seem OK but scared. Mccoskers out the most, Blue throat only when feeding. Increased copper to .34PPM

1/17/25 - More of the same. All except the leopard ate around 7PM. Leopard showed up and looks good, but would not accept any food offered. Back into the sand after about an hour. Copper attempted to increase to 1.2, but sand is absorbing it.

1/18/25 - CU test @ .53. Double tested to make sure, but next test was .54. Increased Cu to 1.0 by dinner. Shooting for 1.2 by bed time. Fish same - no show on Leopard again.

1/19/25 - Leopard found dead on the bottom...Cu Tested at 1.06. Added to get to 1.5. Tested at 2:30 = 1.38. Added to get back to 1.5 for the day. Will test and top up at bed time.

Feeling discouraged on the leopard wrasse. Not sure what I could have done differently. Maybe in addition to the MB bath, I combine that with a H2O2 bath as prescribed by Humble fish? 30min in H2O2, 30min in MB.

Dont know. Ill talk to Harries and see about any upcoming sales. I let them know, but there is no survival guarantee on them.

The Flasher and Fairy seem to be interacting... but want to be sure this isn't some type of flashing. I saw what looked like the fairy try to bit its own tail... like a dog. I didn't get my phone in time, but seemed a little concerning.
