ASD rainbow milli. Fast grower but has some green. Its the one below the clown. The purple stylo on the right is a fast grower and no green, lol.

Make sure you stick with aquacultured. Rule of thumb if it's been in the hobby a long time, it's usually one of the more hardy ones.

Miyagi tort is real forgiving and grows pretty fast. I also really like PC Rainbow for it's amazing color and grows really well.

I agree the PC Rainbow is a hardy acro that has some nice colors. I also have a Tri Color Valida that is nice looking and hardy, although it does have some green in it but not completely green like a green slimer.

thanks for your suggestions guys!
A close reefer told me his Secale „Joker“ should be pretty hardy and forgiving. What you think?

Bubblegum digitata, or a sunset/tequila sunrise montipora. Those are my votes for affordable beautiful growers

Find something cheap being sold locally that you like the look of. If it dies, you should be able to replace it cheap, and it wouldn't be cheap if it wasn't around a while and growing well.

One of the biggest factors is how healthy a frag you start with. It is possible to revive a struggling frag in a new tank, but very difficult. If a frag is healthy, it should do well, assuming you have enough flow and light and your alk isn't doing anything crazy.

Crappy pictures but they give a good representation. If you don't mind green then cant go wrong with a green slimer. Cheap, hardy and a fast grower.

Miyagi Tort is also a nice hardy fast grower. I have multiple larger pieces. Showing you this one because I scraped all remains off and this is growing from a tiny piece that I missed on the bottom of the rock. At this point it deserves to live on. Nice purple and green contrast.
