Adding/mixing Tropic Marin A- and K+ into Randy's DIY 2 Part?

Hey folks

Is it possible to add Tropic Marin A- into Randy's Part 2 (Alkalinity) and Tropic Marin K+ into Randy's Part 1 (Calcium)?

I read somewhere that some people do it this way, but with Tropic Marin's Balling method.

If so how do we know how much to add into each of Randy's DIY 2 part.

I recently bought 1000 mL of each A- and K+.

I currently dose 15 mL of each part into a 50 gallon total volume tank, mainly LPS (torch heavy), but have plans to go SPS within 6 months.

I use TM Original balling and I add 50ml of K+ element to 1L of PartA (calcium) and 50 ml of A- Elements to 1L of PartB Alk. My volume is about 60 gal.

This is inline with AFR mix.

I believe Randy’s Part2 Alk from recipe 2 is close to TM, maybe reduce the dose to 45ml.
This is if you are using recipe #2.
Randy provided few recipes…
If you use other potencies you could ratio the elements.

I am not sure if the TM elements work with high pH Alk additive.

Alternatively you could go by TM recommendation and your tank should take about 1.8ml of A- and K+ a day. Newer tank maybe use 1/2. You can use ICP test to adjust the dose later on.

Also at the start you could dose the elements by hand, see how it goes and then add it to your 2 part.
