I have heard good things about this light it is cheap and apparently grows chaeto like crazy. I figured it probably isn’t actually that many watts but I figured it’ll still be strong if not any alternatives
What do you guys think about this refugium?
Any thoughts opinions experience?

I tried them and it turned my macro white. Think it’s way too strong. And my fudge is 21” deep
Have used these. They don’t last forever but cheap enough to change out.

Rusts due to the salt in the air really fast, then it shorts out and burns your Apex EB832, I mean MINE, did I say yours? Definitely not worth the risk. I wish I could find mine and take a picture of it to show you how NOT WATERPROOF it is. That light may ne water resistant, but not very.

I found that trying to be cheap, cost more in the long run. I use the Neptune Apex GRO light on mine. I tried to cheap out with the Eco-chic light and it was pretty color, but did not grow chaeto for me at all, above water or under. I have had that same experience with nearly every piece of equipment I own.

I use an Aqueon Aquarium Clip-On LED. It's designed for small planted tanks & has worked great for me.

First one failed after a week or two & was replaced under warranty. The second one has been going strong for about two years.
