Hi all, looking for confirmation noticed what I think is Aiptasia on my sand bed this morning, looks like one piece only can see it anywhere else, I tried to lift it bu pushing a net under the sand, I thought I had it and could see the stem though on inspecting the sand outside I don’t think I got it I will wait for it to stick its head up again your start treating the tank?

I would scoop the sand like you already did, and if you see it come back do it again. Once it’s it the tank their really isn’t much you can do except control it. With only 1’visible one you really don’t need to do much. You can try aiptasia x or something. I wouldn’t add any Berghia because they will starve quickly without a ample supply of aiptasia.:)

They're easy to remove when they're on the sand vs rock/glass
Take a turket baster and root through the sand a little where the aiptasia was/is. You will be able to easily suck out the aiptasia once you have dug it up.
