Algae identification

Could anyone assist with identifying what this is? I can't find any related pic on the web. Also, what the best method of removal. It slimy like snot and easy to come off the back walls, but when I do I have to use a net to pick up the debris.

Hello reefers, this will be my first post and i hope i can find some help on this matter, i have had this reef tank for about 5 months and like in the second month i started getting this mucus slowly,but it just kept growing and growing and has become an endless battle, no matter what i do it...
