What kind of anemone are you looking for? Usually a local fish store, online, or from another hobbyist.

Just make sure it’s not near any corals and when it moves make sure it doesn’t run into corals

Is that what your asking. I think I just misread your question

Wait thought u were OP. Disregard what I said

whenever you want. but....... how old is your tank? are your water parameter stable?
My tank is 5 months old.

Define stable. My PH and dKH swing some. Main thing I wonder about is being too clean. I feed a whole chunk of frozen mysis twice a week to make sure my coral get hit. And I feed the clowns a few pellets every other day. I do a 10% water change weekly.

So the question is... Do I need some nitrates and phosphate?

Here is what I test for...

Doesn't look like much coral to have significant demand to swing params.

How are your coral doing? Fully expanding? Fat and happy? In the photo they look retracted but could be time of day...

Coral need po4 and no3 as well not just the nem

What are your params?

how large of swings?

i wouldn’t worry about feeding as anemones primarily feed off the zooxanthellae algae that lives inside of them. the zoox is photosynthetic so it’s important to have the right lighting. this can only be determined through trial and error.

for no3 and po4, it depends on the nem itself. some do better with nutrients and some do better without. again, trial and error. but like with all other livestock, stability is key.

there really is no firm timeframe. it’s all about enough time to keep parameters stable.

7.8 to 8.4 depends on time of day
8-10 dKK
400w MH with 20000 radium bulb on 8 hours. Blue LEDs on 3 hours a day after MH goes off

i wouldn’t worry so much about the ph. your all is pretty crazy. how often do you test? what test kit? any idea as to why it swings so much.
