Hi Everyone,

After about a 15 year hiatus I decided to set up a reef tank. It’s only in the just after cycling stage so it still has a long way to go. I’m planning on doing a SPS dominate tank with some great fish to go with. As per my forum name there will be a few wrasses. Here is my set up so far and equipment. Cycling is complete and now I’m just waiting for the weather to be right so I can add a couple of small fish.

Tank- Cade 1500 s2 with sump and gravity fed auto top off.

Equipment
Lighting- AcroOptics LED’s
Skimmer- Bubble king mini 160 - love this thing
Powerhead/wave maker- 1 x MP60, 1 x MP40, and 1 x Nero 5
Return pump- Vectra M2
Heater- Helios 400W
Carbon reactor- BRS
CALC Reactor- Aquamax but not installed.

Misc
Dry Rock- Caribsea Life rock about 90lbs
Live Rock- Australian live rock from unique corals 25 lbs

Livestock- None so far

Status- Fully cycled and I’m debating on wether to add a clean up crew.

Please excuse the poor iPhone pics.

Clean up crew needs to eat. Unless you plan to feed them, which is cool, wait.

Hey once you placed your order, how long until you received it? I’m placing an order tomorrow - hoping it’ll be delivered by July 23rd or 25th (took vacation those days)

That’s quite a list! I was offered a yellow/purple hybrid but declined. Are you ordering directly from BA? I want to see what it looks like when it’s an adult. I know there’s a picture of one but I’m not sure if that’s the norm or not. I know from my list I need to start looking at smaller fish. I do have a joculator angel coming in the next few weeks as well as a pair of blue lines.
