Any chance my isopods will beat this tuft of algae?

I'm probably playing with fire not manually removing this tuft of algae, but I'm curious if my population of Munnid isopods will eat this algae faster than it grows. Bets, I guess?
Dont worry about the closed zoa polyps, they probably got stepped on by a shrimp.

love those isopods.
but I'll bet they are mostly eating the epiphytes that grow on the gha - diatoms etc.
