I'm always thrilled to turn the lights off (under the cabinet) then use a penlight to watch the myriad of life in the SUMP. I was just laying on the floor doing this and I noted 17 different "critters". Granted some could be youth vs adult of the same animal but it's so exciting to watch everything bouncing, rolling, swimming, and darting around.
I actually never spent much time looking in my previous sumps because they all had a REFIGIUM and that was the "equipment" I spent my time watching.
So who else is fascinated with their SUMP?
