Anyone else spend a LOT of time looking deep into your SUMP?

I'm always thrilled to turn the lights off (under the cabinet) then use a penlight to watch the myriad of life in the SUMP. I was just laying on the floor doing this and I noted 17 different "critters". Granted some could be youth vs adult of the same animal but it's so exciting to watch everything bouncing, rolling, swimming, and darting around.

I actually never spent much time looking in my previous sumps because they all had a REFIGIUM and that was the "equipment" I spent my time watching.

So who else is fascinated with their SUMP?

Yeah Im guilty, I spend as much time staring into my sump as I do the display. Especially evenings, its fascinating.
In my specific case I have setup a very new tank, only running for 2 months now but the DSB was lifted directly from a mangrove plantation so the life that exists in this DSB is amazing.

A few months ago I bought this little device and it is so cool for inspecting things in the sump using a phone. I have a few videos and will try upload something.

What are "mountain mollies" ?

What type of Limias did you order? Are they already SW or will you need to acclimate them to it? Also, will they potentially breed in SW like mollies sometimes do?

Dwarf Molly, Trio (1M2F)$74.99/each1
Limia perugiae "Boca de Cachon"$9.99/each3

supposedly the Limias can go hypersaline
Most of the poecilia genus tolerate salt…more or less
the fish you want are P.Picta  ;)

He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into a sump, the sump gazes also into you.
