I just got my first arrow crab yesterday and he has already ripped apart one of my blue legs I was under the impression they were reef and invert safe anyone else have experience keeping these guys in a reef setting?
Do you think the blue leg crab was already dead when he got to it?
Also, I had already fed my fish twice today and watched mr. Arrow eat some mysis so it’s odd ...

I only keep pom poms and hermits now for this very behavior. Crabs will be crabs.

But that could be a molt he picked up.

Arrows will eat snails, bristle worms, small shrimps, small fish, crabs. In my experience, they aren't reef safe. Usually don't see them much anymore at LFS's.
