Best/interesting pair of fish for a 40 gallon breeder. . . A pair that might breed would be cool. . .

All right, so I will be moving soon, and I am planning on setting up a few more tanks, specifically two 40 breeders and two 20 regulars. One of the 40s will be for my SPS (basically transferring my current tank) and both 20s will be for anemones and clowns. . . I thought about doing discus (freshwater) in the other 40. . . But not sure I want to add FW into the mix. . . Any cool ideas for the other 40? I thought trying to pair Pygmy or dwarf angels might be cool but I need to do more research. . . What you guys think? (Coral safe fish is best)

If you are looking to breed fish, bangaii cardinals are fun to breed, the miniature babies are pretty easy to care for and can be sold or traded to local reefers or lfs.

Maybe, they are beautiful Fish. . . But I was hoping for something a little less common. . . But definitely a possibility. I assume pajama Cardinals would also be an option?

Pajama cardinals are not as easy to breed if i understand correctly, it can still be done. In terms of fish that you will be able to breed unfortunately you will be limited to some of the more common fish.

I'll throw out the obvious answer. Clowns. With a different morph than normal, could be fun and interesting

Yeah I have been thinking of just doing designers in each tank!! Currently I have a longfin paired with a mocha round longfin in one tank, and a midnight and a black ice (maybe black snowflake?) paired in the other. Want another REALLY fancy pair like the crazy black storm or snow storm clowns. . . would also like to try hybridizing clowns. . . I love Mai Tai (Maroon X Ocillaris) and would love to see other pairings
