So like branching sps, but the branches are tightly packed?They look identical to regular matting gsp. The only difference I’ve notice is the spread then the start branching and layering but end up looking like a ball

Looks like one in my tank. The branches are a purplish color.
that was my first thought as well honestly. but then just realized it was probably more like the gsp using previous polyps to grow on top of and create super dense "branches" of coral tissue.Oic Thanx. When the OP called it a branching GSP, that's what I thought of.
