Carib Sea Live Sand No Longer Includes Separate Biomagnet clarifier Packet

Hi Everyone,

I’m going to assume not many know about this so I thought I’d post this.

I recently set up my aquarium today, and whilst pouring my sand in, I realised I forgot to find the Biomagnet packet. I’ve used this product before and knew exactly what I was looking for….but no sign. I thought I was going crazy but after sifting through all the sand, I was assured It wasn’t there and contacted carib sea.

They confirmed:
“Thank you for your purchase and question. Yes, we stopped adding the bio magnet as a separate packet and have been adding directly to the substrate. Yours has it added to the sand.”

Since there’s no information online about this change, I hope this post helps clarify things. I also think Carib Sea should make this update clearer to their customers.

Has anyone else noticed this change?

thanks for the confirmation. spent 15 minutes checking and re checking my sand bed to make sure I didn't miss it in my last build.

I just used 4 bags and only had it in 2 bags. Seems like they're phasing it out of packaging perhaps? I've never used it anyway
