I’m thinking of dosing interceptor due to these worms I can’t identify. They create detritus tunnels on healthy SPS tissue which causes recession. I see what appears like feeding strands at times which irritates the corals. I blast the SPS with a baster and a lot of new sand keeps blowing off each day. The tank has strong circulation. These came in on some new corals I had bought. Any thoughts?
Dorvilleidae worms and vermetid snails.
The dorvilleidae worms are good clean up crew members, the vermetid snails can bug corals, but I dont think either are the source if your STN, I think they're a result of your STN (feeding off the dead tissue)
