That's sort of good news, I suppose. Give another round of Prazi in 4 or 5 more days.

For your questions, those are tough. A big healthy fish can go awhile without eating. I had an adult emperor angel go over a month in QT, but a clown is likely different. If you've figured out that it's flukes, and it's getting better with Prazi, then I really like the chances for recovery.

Fish just ate, I'm so happy.

I will try not to over feed it, I will feed it with small portions several times per day.

Can I return it in display if fish starts to feel better? Can fish get infected by flukes in DT again?

Yes it can, I don’t remember the exact lifecycle of flukes in a fishless system but I believe it’s 6 weeks. If you believe your other fish died of brook that is also likely in there and I believe is also 6 weeks. I have always kept my fish out of main tank until parasite life cycle is complete after successful treatment to prevent reinfection or future infections.

I mean to say yes it can be reinfected, not yes it can go back in main tank.

Update after 4 weeks: fish in QT is very active, eating well, but breathing still very rapidly. Also I notice yawning couple of times.

Also I noticed fish skin changed color, looks pale and damaged.

Fish is eating well but only small pieaces.

So looks like flukes have damaged his gills.

Will fish ever recover from this?

Thank you

Can you post a video? Sometimes, those work better than a verbal; description of how the fish looks.

If it is flukes, the prazi should have taken care of it. In two weeks, the fish should have healed.
