My sand sifting goby is gone. He decided he wanted out I guess, and popped the feeding lid off the lid of the tank to his grave on the floor overnight :(

Sadness, he was a goofy personality in the tank. I kinda won't miss the mess he'd make, but man, he was a fun critter!

I feel your pain, waaaayyyy back in the day when platinum clownfish first came out, I bought a pair from my LFS for a pretty penny. 1 of them jumped 3 days later.

Yes, but it is light, sadly. Still quite surprised :(
My feeding lids are like that also and I worry about them. Only weighs about an ounce. Makes me wonder why the hole in the lid doesn’t have two notches - and the cap have two protrusions - so you put the feed cap on and twist 180 degree to lock it. Seems simple enough to me…at the time of the build of course
