Does anyone have a Lieutenant Tang?

[Miami Reef]

I’ve never had one, but I think they might be one of my all-time-favorite tangs, short of the orange shoulder. They are very similar, so it makes sense why I would like both.


Does anyone have this tang? Please share pictures. I just ordered one online, and I’m very excited.

Not according to Dr Reef. I posted a precaution about Thursday shipping for Friday delivery and was basically attacked.

Dr. Reef sent me EXTRA fish, what should I do.

Why are you even in the hobby? You should be out lobbying to make it illegal to keep ANY fish based on your responses. How many fish had to die for you to get one? How many fish have to be collected and die through the entire process from collection to you buying them and QT'ing them yourself...

I think Thursday for Friday is even riskier if Christmas was the Wednesday prior!

Normally a Thursday for Friday is fine. But not after Christmas or even New Years where they were shut down for a day and still have overflow.

I'm not going to argue with you. Shipping livestock on a Thursday for Friday delivery is a poor idea especially post covid where delays have become common. I've had it happen and lost the entire order. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

I will say that I agree on thursday to friday being bad. UPS is 150% the problem. Ive had about 5 orders for this time frame. 4 were delayed and lost all fish in the shipment. Only one was delivered on time. Me personally will never go for friday delivery, and I live in Denver so its not like its a rural area. Now fedex never had an issue with delays with them. UPS is a different story -.-

I have an Orange shoulder tang that WONT change colors despite it being huge. I predict this addition will get him to change. It’s a win-win!
