I just got my dry rock delivery today. I noticed this thing on the rock. It's obviously dead. I just want verification that I'll be fine to use this rock and start the cycle. I'll def clean this rock before hand.

Probably the remains of Serpula tube or similar feather duster. Harmless and benign.
