Anyone have any idea what these “hairs” may be in my royal gramma. I zoomed in on left side, but is on both sides.

That’s what mine looked like when it got stung by a bristle worm. It recovered, and I still have it.

However, the same thing happened to a yellow Coris wrasse that ended up dying.

I was thinking it may be flukes or a fungus. But there is a bristle worm in the area the fish frequents. Thanks.
