I assume this is bad. Found late at night when feeding the rainbow chalice. Didn’t see any eggs. Possibly a loner I hope.
It’s always something in this hobby had a bacterial infection in the water treated tank with cipro worked very well constantly eradicating evasive purple polyps and Aptasia finally conquered briopsis and hair algae

leopard polyclad flatworm is what it looks like. If so it eats snails

Found on the orange peal torch. Does it eat them also ?
If found on your torch it's likely a euphyllia eating flatworm. Torches are their favorite and first choice. Unfortunately it takes effort and time to rid a tank of them. I have found scrubbing the base skeletons and inspecting for eggs paired with a bayer dip to be the best way. Should be repeated once every 5 days with no less than 3 treatments

Sounds like you can place a scallop on a clip and see if it attracts to help determine the variety...
