Good or bad hitchhikers ?

Was moving a piece of coral today. This piece was down in the live rock and when I pulled it out I seen these toxic looking hitchhikers. I tried Google lens but I didn’t see much that looked like them

Any ideas?

Looks like a few polyps of zoas or palythoas.

The purple curled thing is a vermitid snail. Not sure about the other, it doesn’t look like aptasia. Maybe @ISpeakForTheSeas will know

Yeah, my initial thought was Paly, but I have not seen them that small before.

Dip won’t kill vermitid snails. You need to manually remove them.

You need to remove it from the base, completely. If you just break it odd, the snail stays in the base left behind.

Sorry, yes I understand that. My thought was to dip after removal just incase it has picked up anything else from the piece of live rock

Just put super glue over the opening of the tube, if you break the tube off at the base you risk releasing its eggs in the water.
