Hello all,

After I changed the light LED, he moved to the corner below the rock and stay there, I can see the colors isn't great anymore. He still stick to the rock, and open/close during the day and my 2 clownfish are still with him. What shouls I do? Below are picture from him.
My tank detail:
Pennisula 35 cm
1 wave maker
Light MJ 165 Blue (13h/day - 80% max).
Last test:
Temp: 27o C
dKH: 10
PH: 7.5
CA: 380
Salinity: 1024

Here when I added to the tank 2 weeks a go:

Get your salinity to 1.026
This will help raise your ph and calcium.
Slowly allow dkh to come down to 8 and keep it between 8 - 8.5
Lower your temp to 25.5
Keep your nitrates between 10-20 and phosphate 0.10 - 0.15
Oh salinity was 1026, and I though it high, then I decrease to 1024 after changing water. Do this common for others corals too?
I used a fan for my tank and this help to get lower 2 degrees (i live in Van, so quite hot out here). Should I think about a chiller? (quite expensive).

Whenever you change light, everything, some more than others, need time to adjust, that’s why your nem moved.

I’d change nothing.

If 27 is lowest you can get it should be fine but 25.5 is what I prefer. 25.5 will help to have more dissolved oxygen in you tank which will also slightly help with your ph.
1.026 is good for all corals.
Where is Van?
For a second I thought you were saying you lived in a van…lol
Not that there is anything wrong with living in a van but would be interesting to see a reef tank in one…lol

The light is more than likely what affected the nem. Lower the percentage and have it only come on for ten hours per day. After a few weeks start to slowly increase percentage.
However, your parameters are more concerning to me. The nem can move to a shaded area like it did.

Hahah, wrong input from my phone. I live in Vietnam :). The Salinity was 1026 from beginning, I will re-calibreate to1026 then.

He looks ok, most likely shocked from increased light and flow. I’d leave him alone and wait it out. Let him acclimate to the changes.
yeah, i might need to watch him few week to see how he acclimate to it.

I used a MJ 165 Blue, setting intensity at 80% for blue in 6 hours only, the other time the intensity is lower, and moved slowly. I can see my 2 clown still host him everyday, and he is able to take small piece of shrimp every 2-3 days. How is the flow, do anemone like moderate flow? I intend to test the parameters every week, is that egnough? Salinity will be test every 2-3 days.
