This green pavona coral started on a little plug about the size of a quarter. It is now bigger than I would like. I put a bubble coral near it to sting it, but the bubble doesnt seem to sting the pavona. I would like to kill it without using chemicals or removing the rock. I ordered some reef putty from brs. Will covering it up in putty work?

I used putty to stop it but make sure you get the whole growing edge or it will simply come back.

Out a torch coral next to it
unfortunately i dont have one, and i dont have any good stores within an hour of me either. Ill try the putty, ill completely cover it. I got coralline purple putty, but if it looks weird after, ill just put some shrooms or something on it.
