You see, I have Aiptasias problems, but my old peppermint shrimp died for no reason. I got a CBS a while back thinking it was just a regular shrimp, but I found out that CBS hate other shrimp. As you can imagine, yes, I bought another peppermint, but it arrived TOO small... Shortly after introducing him everything was perfect, until they had their first meeting, and as you can imagine I immediately put Peppermint in a small breeding box. Yes, I could easily get rid of the CBS, but unfortunately I've gotten attached to it and decided I'll just grow the peppermint out until it's a good size. Honestly, my hopes for them to coexist were 50/50, due to many stories I've read where they maintain CBS with other species and others where the CBS are killers. I'll keep my fingers crossed that my CBS doesn't kill my other shrimp once it grows up.

depends on tank size, if you got like 75g it will probably be okay. If you got like a 20g its a goner.
Well indeed, I have a 21-22g. I still have room for another tank, but it will probably be occupied by mudskippers.
Well, then I have another question, how long do you think my CBS will live? I mean, it's already very big (it's the size of my hand) and I've had it for several months now. Honestly, it would hurt me a lot to lose her, but if I want more shrimp, it will be necessary to keep her out. Although, if I don't get mudskippers, the other tank will probably be saltwater and I can put the CBS in there.

Some live upwards of seven years so i imagine your going to have to deal with it for a while.
