That doesn't look like ICH.
Hard to tell from the pic. Does it look like it was dusted with powdered sugar? It might be Velvet.
Yea it looks like a dusting of sorts.. however as the day has gone along.. it’s starting to go away.. super weird.
Yeah... gotta tell ya... that sounds like Velvet to me. I don't know if Brook manifests itself in the same way. Definitely get it into a quarantine tank and keep a close watch on the other inhabitants so that you can move them to QT at first sign. There are a lot of good people here with experience in fish diseases. I'm sure you will get some good advice.
Will it effect coral or just fish?
Orange Clown looks clean.
I can't say for certain what on the second fish.
People will tell ya all the common afflictions and to QT but all I'd recommend is waiting it out.
Agree. The fact that the spots are going away is in line with velvet life cycleYeah... but what if it's Velvet? If you wait it out, everything could be dead in 5 days.
IMO, be proactive.
Are we talking about the coral being affected by fish parasites?Almost certain it effects fish only.
People seem to forget there no copper treatment in the ocean.
Velvet is a parasite that feeds on
Chlorophyll so putting the fish in a completely dark tank after a freshwater dip is the best treatment.
Clowns do not do well in copper btw... Lol, Humblefish is someone i avoid when it comes to treating a sick fish. This is not true at all. See the many posts by @Humblefish in this forum on curing velvet.
