Hello Everyone, I hope you all are staying well and enjoying this beautiful summer so far. I wanted to share my progress on my Innovative Marine Fusion 20. The tank was initially set up May of last year, and has been coming along great. I knew that when I had to downgrade tanks and set up this nano due to frequent traveling and school, I still wanted the functionality and versatility of a larger system. I am all for the technology side of reefing, so I decided to trick this nano out! My current equipment list is the following:
As far as livestock goes, I have always been attracted to the fish that you don’t see everyday. With such little space to work with, my options were limited. I was able to get my hands on a Hawaiian Four Lined Wrasse, and he is my showpiece fish, and the only free swimming fish in the tank. I also have a pair of Yasha Gobies and candy stripe pistol shrimp. With very little fish, I only feed every other day or so. Nitrates and Phosphates have always stayed low, especially with the help of my skimmer when needed.
From this point forward, I hope that I can continue to make this tank euphyllia/lps dominant and eventually try some sticks again. I wanted to share my tank in hopes to show the capability of nanos under a good maintenance regiment, and how even small tanks can look and feel just as cool as larger systems. Thanks for viewing everyone!
