I've tried file fish,
I've tried Aptasia-X
I've tried F-Aptasia
I've tried nudibraches (tho I believe my toxic dinos killed them sadly)

All without luck. In fact with F-Aptasia I had a mini outbreak after using it...Which has left me paralyzed to try anything for a while.

Enter in Joe's Juice. Not sure where in the googling I found it, but I figured I'd give it a try.

I used it on one that was at least the size of a silver dollar, probably 1.5x that size really.

Poof, gone. No outbreak for 4 days, and I treated 4-5 other ones at the same time.

So far I'm quite happy. Need to go treat another half dozen.

Agree, I have only tried f-Aiptasia, joes juice, and nudis. Nudis work best for but joes juice is awesome

Get back to me in 3 months.

It's not acceptable for vendors to sell corals and inverts when their systems have Aiptasia.

There is no such thing as a coral vendor whose system does not have Aiptasia.
If they say they do, they're being dishonest.

The Apitasia are there, but simply too small to be seen and perhaps being controlled in system.

It didn't use to to be that why, and now we accept it. What's worse is the endorsement of products that actually lead to further infestation.
To combat Aiptasia in our systems we need to be realistic.
Just because a hobbyist perceives the destruction of an Aiptasia after using popular and promoted products is very misleading.

I used blue life aptasia rx last week and it got the job done. I went heavy handed and turned the flow off for 10 minutes. I bought syringes with longer needles too which helped out a lot.

We shall see.

I never said it works 100%, just that so far it did what I wanted.

If this lasts for a month or more, that will be very different.

Right now it’s just a story.

And all of my aptasia came from live rock

Yes, the most important part that most folks seem to skip, is that all flow needs to be off for about 5 mins before application and for at least 15 mins after.

Otherwise the nasty aiptasia just 'hold their breath' and wait for the flow to blow away the paste.

Reading directions is an important life skill. Joe's Juice works great. Then to keep anymore from showing up keep a couple of peppermint shrimp, copperbanded angel fish, or filefish. I have all 3. I know there a some aiptasia in the sump. So far the JJ and livestock have kept any from showing up. My livestock can get where I cannot reach. So far they have kept them from showing up. I have a 180 gallon. It really does work, the animals may take a bit of patience for the aiptasia to go away.
