As requested by skinz78, here are some photos of the clams I used to have. My tank crashed and I lost everything including these beauties. Hopefully one day I'll be able to set it back up like it once was.

I love this thread. Clams are my favorite reef tank inhabitant. Currently I only have two in my current collection, but once the kids are out of daycare and there's some "fun" money I plan to expand the collection. But this thread is about pictures...

The clam has done much better color wize since moving it up off the sand in my 24" deep tank with LED. however, in looking close at it, I didnt see any new shell growth. all water params look really good. 35ppt salinity, ph 8.1, temp 78.2-79.1, ca 420, 9.1 Dkh.[/QUOTE]
