I added some nitrate remover and within a few hours alot of small bubbles started forming on the surface of the water. I had to turn off my protein skimmer. I do have two air stones in the tank.

On the second picture, the blur in the middle is bubbles from the air stone. Third pic is the product I put in the fish tank a couple hours before the bubbles.

Not seeing any pictures, but just a general question, why do you have air stones in a saltwater tank? Have you tried just turning off your air stones? I don't know what you're filter is but if you're like most people and have an external filter you're intake may be sucking in a bit of air or you're output may be splashing a bit, causing a bit of bubbles to mix in the water flow and then rise.

Looks like you have little to no surface agitation. What's your tank's total volume and return rate (gph)?

Looks like your air stones are creating a minor protein skimming effect.
Yeah the chemicals could be adding to this affect. And giving it an oily consistency allowing bubble build up. Once the chemicals disolve well into the water it should go away. Try adding surface agitation like a power head creating ripples.

Yeah I would ditch the airstone and use a circulation pump to create more surface agitation.
