I’ve borrowed one from my LFS. I loved it. Other people have had mixed results.

Unless you can ‘burn’ every single cell of each aiptasia, it will grow back (hint: you can’t)... better off trying a file fish or butterfly, peppermint shrimp, or nudi.

Not in the tank I treated with the wand, my smaller tank, 40b, is over-run with aiptasia. I have three peppermints in there and they haven’t done anything. I have too many now to use the wand. Might add even more peppermints. I might get lucky and be able to find some Berghias at the upcoming frag swap.

Aiptasia is a form of anemone - you hit it with that "Wand", kalk, aiptaia X, etc - whatever and all you'll do is P#$ss them off and they'll split & multiply, Peppermint shrimp are an option but many LFS sell similar shrimp that don't eat aiptasia. The ORA aiptasia filefish solved my aiptasia problem forever. They're shy, they eat at night and I've found it takes almost two weeks for them to devour a tankful of aiptasia. Once aiptasia is gone they eat pellets no problem and are usually model citizens in a tank. (I've heard of them picking at flowing, waving corals)

On another note the Majano Wand was designed and patented by a member here on R2R - Paul B. And it does work for Majano & those pesky mushrooms that overgrow other corals.
