Here are my first ATI test results. I am running Core7 other methods on a 100 gallon total volume tank. Tank is about 1 year old. I’m not sure where the elevated chromium is coming from. How are their recommendations?

How do you get your tank water (RO/DI setup, LFS source, etc.)? If you have your own RO/DI, how often do/have you changed out your filters and membranes?
What salt mix do you use?
Have you inspected all your wet-side magnets (including inside any mag-drive pumps) for swelling or other indication of failure?

Seems like the suggestion of doing some water changes would only be beneficial after you've determined that your RO/DI is clean and that your salt isn't the source of the imbalance. And if you've got a leaking magnet, water changes won't help that long-term. So... good suggestion to do water changes, but need to make sure that it'll really help first.

Sorry; can't really speak to the additives they suggested.

Since it’s an ati test, he should already know if his rodi is clean as they provide a tube just for that as well.

But you really should be looking at anything metal in or around the tank for signs of corrosion, while doing to water changes to lower your chromium if your corals show that it’s even a problem.

I have my own RO/DI unit and it tested as it should. No issues there. Everything seems to be doing ok right now. I had a large slow snail die off but I believe that was due to my core7 bottle 1 which is magnesium overdosing over a couple of months. Randy, the potassium seems to be the biggest issue to you? What’s the best way to dose that? I would think that it would be part of the core7 system as would the rest of the elements that are showing as low. It’s funny that ATI didn’t even mention a corrective action for the low potassium.
