I was going through some photos of my tank and figured I'd share some photos of my tank progress from a 29G to my 72G bowfront.

Wow that looks nice. At this rate you will be upgading to a larger tank pretty soon.

Jack

Hi Jack, I've been thinking of upgrading to a 6' bowfront tank later. I just can't seem to keep my corals from touching each other in this tank. :)

Nice!! Looks like your tank is full, time to upgrade again :hammer: Thanks for sharing

The upgrade is in the work. Thanks.

Great tank! Awesome Monti cap in there too. It's nice to see them grown out.

Thank you. You should see my Monti cap rock before. It was at least 14" X 12" big with 4 different type of caps on it. It was taking up too much room.

Awesome growth and interesting rock work. What time frame from first to last pic for 72?

I started reef tank in Feb 2007 and switched to the 72 in about June 2007. Just over a year I spent way too much time and money on this tank but it's all worth it.

Yeah, I couldn't believe my tank changed so much.
I still need to get the Armageddon and Sopranos and then I will be all set.

Awesome tank and progression! Thanks for sharing. :)

Kinda bored tonight so figured I'd update my progress thread.

This is how my tank looks like now. I just bought a 155G bowfront. I'm still saving up money for the stand, skimmer, and light. I can't wait to see that up. I'm starving for space in my 72 G tank right now.

Very nice pictures, I have a few questions.
1) Do you quarantine your corals? Asking because everything looks so healthy
2) How do you get zoanthids and other corals to grow on the glass back of the tank?
3) What, if anything, do you dose?

1) Yes, I dip and QT everything that goes into my tanks. I even QT clean up crews as well. Nothing get pass my dip and QT.

2) They sell magnetic frag disk you can buy to mount your frags on.

3) I dose with Randy 2 Parts.

Thanks for the responses to the questions. One last one, what do you use to dip your corals? Thanks again.
