I got lazy and let all four sides of my tank get covered in coraline, so tonight I was scraping the glass and around the bottom where the coraline dust was accumulating there were hundreds of these snails. They are so small I had to get a magnifying glass to view them, from a distance they just look like substrate but if you get close enough there are a bunch of them. They are about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch long and look like solid white cerith snails, but I have heard of pyramid snails and some snails that eat clams that look like tiny ceriths. I have some ceriths in my tank and refugium but they are not white. Let me know what you think these are.

Thats really tiny, i have seen many small snails in my tanks over time, even tiny triangular ones like that one. If you have clams you can pick up and inspect around the foot area you will know if you have pyramids. My clams are still kickin so unless your seeing problems somewhere id say they are most likely harmless and reproduce according to the ammount of food available to them.

same pyramid snails will only eat other larger snails as well. i have read about two types ones that eat clams and ones that eat snails. if you have larger snails of any kind. try taking them out and examine them look around their opening/door thats where the pyramid snails where hang out and eat their host. i have lost most my snails due do thise little buggers if thats what it is.
