I have a 90 gallon 48 inches long x 18 inches deep x 24 inches high that I have been running with two AI HD 32s and the lenses are melting off one set. The tank is rimmed and has a center brace. I just made RedSea net covers for the tank two days ago and yesterday had the chance to buy 3 Kessil A360W E-Series lights with a controller for $150. The net covers make the mesh opening 15 x 21 inches on either side of the center brace. The center brace blocks 3 inches down the middle of the tank.

Any advice for swapping out the lights and how to optimize the placement of all three?

I think the 360w have a 24x24 recommended spread. I have two 360X over a 120 which is 48x24x24 and the center brace has no effect on the light spread. They are about 10” off the water.

That’s great to hear. I think that means I have a spare light that I can use elsewhere. Thanks for the help.

Kessil's are very powerful. I turn my A360 up to 80% as there is no need to go any higher. Seems to be fine.

I have 4 Radion xr30 blues and 3 Kessil A360 on my 300. I have them about 16 inches off the top of tank. Having all these lights lets me run them not a full percentage so it uses less electric and hopefully extends the life of the lights. Time will tell....
