The jist of it is I used no splash bleach on my mp40 westside then soaked in rodi water then dried and put into display tank. I realized it was no splash bleach too late so I've dosed with prime and put my carbon reactor in the sump. The tank is empty because it's cycling. Is there anything else I need to do?

If you washed it off, there shouldn’t be an issue.

Well I certainly hope that's the case. I also used it on an old quarantine tank and equipment but I haven't set it back up so I can take my time washing it. I just got paranoid about the mp40 as I already put it in the tank.

I feel you! You really have to look at the labels now, it's really a lot harder to find just regular bleach. I was washing 5g jugs out with So-Called No splash (unknown to me) Rinsed it, put it in some RO with sodium thiosulphate. Did a water change and a few minutes later my skimmer was going crazy. I threw some carbon in just in case and shut off the skimmer. It was then I looked at the fine print of the bleach. I was lucky nothing bad happened. I think they use a soap like substance to raise the viscosity of the bleach.

Even if there was theoretically some residue left would the prime and carbon remove it?

No. The concern is not bleach. It’s the polymer used to make it viscous and splashless.

House brand cheap bleach is often just that.
