Please ID this tang

Hello,

I picked up this tang from my lfs because he had a ton of personality and seemed to have a healthy appetite.

I originally thought he was a kole tang but on closer inspection he doesn’t really match the pictures online. I know it’s difficult to tell with my lights but he is blue in colour and the stripes continue down his face, he does also have a little bit of muted yellow here and there.

Was hoping it could be identified with the body shape and stripe pattern

Acanthurus dussumieri, that's what I think it is.

Acanthurus coeruleuss (Blue Surgeonfish) maybe? Clearer pic would help more though.

After a bit more web surfing I’m thinking it looks like a mata tang
I got him for about $50 so might have got a good deal

Definitely not a yellow fin. Looks like a Mata tang is a close match to me. First pic is a yellow fin, second is a mata tang

Yellow fin mid stage below BUT forgot about Mata. Yellowfin wont be $50 anytime
